If you get an error message when launching SnipNotes that the database cannot be opened, you should be able to solve the problem yourself by following these steps:

• Open the Terminal app on your Mac
• Copy the following command to the clipboard and paste it into the terminal:

sudo chown -R $(whoami):staff ~/Library/Group\\ Containers/7T8DYS43CJ.de.lisczyk.felix.SnipNotes/

• Submit the command with the return key
• Enter your login password and press Enter again
• Close the terminal
• Restart your Mac
• Launch SnipNotes
