If you receive an error message stating that the database cannot be opened when launching SnipNotes, please try the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Open the Terminal app on your Mac

  2. Copy and paste the following command into the Terminal:

    sudo chown -R $(whoami):staff ~/Library/Group\\\\ Containers/7T8DYS43CJ.de.lisczyk.felix.SnipNotes/
    
  3. Press Return (↵) to execute the command

  4. When prompted, enter your Mac's admin password

  5. Close the Terminal

  6. Restart your Mac

  7. Launch SnipNotes again
