You can protect your notes from unauthorized access with a passcode and Touch ID. Open the list of categories and tap the cogwheel icon to reveal the settings menu. Select “Passcode / Touch ID” and turn on the switch “Enable passcode / Touch ID”. Enter your desired passcode twice. Afterwards, you can choose between two modes:
Devices with a Touch ID sensor will prompt you to use your finger for authentication. Tap on “Cancel” to use your passcode instead.
If you forgot your passcode you can authenticate with your fingerprint and disable the passcode. On older devices without Touch ID, you have to delete and reinstall the app to reset the passcode.
