SnipNotes provides a lot of ways for quickly saving information and to enter your own thoughts. The following paragraphs describe different ways to create new notes in SnipNotes.

Overview

Enter Your Own Text

• Open SnipNotes and tap on the pencil icon to create a new text note
  • On the iPhone, this button is located at the bottom of your screen
  • On the iPad, you will find it in the upper right corner
  • On the Mac, the button is located in the top bar
• Long-press the SnipNotes icon on your home screen and select “Write Note” (iOS only)
• Use the shortcuts widget on your home screen (iOS only)
• Open the menu bar app, enter your text and click “Save” (macOS only)
• On your Apple Watch, tap the “Create Note” button and select the "Scribble" option
• Use the URL scheme to create notes from other apps

Dictate Text Notes

• Open SnipNotes, tap the plus icon and select “Dictate Note” (iOS only)

• Long-press the SnipNotes icon on your home screen and select “Dictate Note” (iOS only)
• Tap on the microphone icon in the shortcuts widget (iOS only)
• Create a new text note and use the dictation button on your keyboard
• On your Apple Watch, tap the “Create Note” button and select "Dictation"
